You can store several file types in Google Drive these include documents, photos, and videos. Other computers that you use will have their own folders. When viewing your files on Google Drive, anything that has come from your PC is labeled in a specific folder, so it is easy to find your documents. You can also change these settings through the preferences menu. You can set up which files you would like to sync when you first launch the application.
You can also access your files from Google Drive by syncing them to your computer ou can sync selected folders to your desktop, this means you can access those documents offline. These files do not remain as a static snapshot and are updated when you make changes.įiles don’t just move from your PC to your cloud storage. It is possible to include content from a USB drive and other external sources when backing up. Alternatively, you can choose to backup your whole computer. To do a backup, see all the backup options here: its very simple.Using the desktop app you can choose to back up selected files from your PC. After, you have to make either a WIN-PE boot USB (so you can boot a dead PC into Macrium Reflect v7 and restore it) or use the Macrium Reflect v7 option to have a preboot "System Recovery", to do this task(s) go to the Macrium Reflect v7 software and go to > 'Other Tasks' > 'Create Rescue Media > Select 'Windows Boot Menu' in the device list and click 'Build' then you will get this menu option in the preboot, everytime you rreboot (whcih I would strongly recommend as its only a feature with Macrium Reflect v7, see below) If you don't want to pay and only want the Free verison then, download Macrium Reflect v7 from here: and install it first. I have used Macrium Reflect for many years and its one of the best and siplest, what Macrium Reflect does is in its "Free" vesrion you can do a clone of your boot drive and with the paid veriosn you can either do a systematic and timed backup or a designated folder file backup(s). Philetus can you tell me how this Reflect free program works? I have always used scan disks and don't know how this works.
